What better excuse to start a blog than when you find out you're going to be moving overseas. I've been wanting to start one of these for a long time. It'll be a great way to record all our travels, experiences and complaints and share them with you.
So far, everything has been crazy and exciting around here. I mean, not only are we surprised to know we're pregnant but now the new surprise, moving to Germany. It's all kind of scary and exciting and stressful all wrapped into one. We only have 2 months to get our passports done (which we started today). We have to get medical physicals completed - which I'm stressing over, me and my "white coat anxiety" (there goes the blood pressure). Not to mention the obvious: getting the house packed out, figuring out how to get Copper over there safely, shipping the car, etc, etc. Of course there is the biggest stressor on top of it all, if we don't get everything done in time, they could send D. over on his own and the boys and I will have to meet him over there (possibly traveling without him) at a later date - that'll be a blast! LOL
I'm trying not to worry about this stuff too much. God put us in this and He has His plan. It'll all work out perfectly, I know. There are pro's and con's to D. leaving before us. I would rather us all be together but if he does have to leave before us.... he's taking that dog with him! ;) LOL!!
On a happy, less stressful note, the pregnancy is going great. I'm nauseous pretty much daily now - which believe it or not, I'm embracing. It's reassuring to me to know that my hormones are in full swing. I never got to experience that with the boys and I was a little sad that I missed out (haha! weirdo, I know). I'm not quite sure when I'll be seeing an OB. I'm guessing I'll find out more when we have our physicals - in about 2 weeks. Just think, by the time we get over to Germany, I'll probably be far enough along that we'll be able to find out what the baby's sex is going to be!! :D
Well gotta run, I made chocolate chip cookies and one is calling my name!!! (shh dont tell)
