Speaking of knitting, well more crochet in this instance, I found an old baby blanket project that I started several years ago and never finished. It originally was meant for a doll that I was sculpting but about I got burnt out on making dolls so the blanket project got packed away and forgotten. Now I have new incentive with baby number 3 on his or her way. It's being made from fluffy, bulky yarn, it's sooo cuddly soft. I love they way it's turning out. I'm about 1/2 way done with it now, here's a sneak preview. :)

Rainy day
Call me weird but I love rainy days. I dont like it to be dark and dreary all the time but the occassional "forced-to-stay-inside" dark and rainy day is just fine by me. Maybe I spent too much time in England but days like this just make me feel "home-y". I want to snuggle up, happily on the couch with a cup of tea or coffee and read a book, or knit, or just watch a movie.

Oh! and my passport arrived today... 1 of 3 we're waiting on! It came so quickly! It's such a relief and hopefully the other two will follow quickly. Everything else we need to get done is basically just waiting on our medical screenings to get approved, which hopefully should be next week. I cant believe how fast time is flying. Before we know it, we'll be in flight to our new home in Germany! :)
