Today was my doctor's appointment. I'm now supposed to be going to see her everyday until baby arrives (minus Christmas eve and Christmas of course). My next appt will be on the 26th. I told her all about my adventures on Sunday and when she did the exam it seems it was not all for naught. They dont really tell you as much in detail about things in the doc's office over here as much as they do in the states - like how many centimeters, effacement, etc. But she said Sunday made a lot of progress, she can get 2 fingers through, according to what I've read that means anywhere from 2-4 centimeters. She also said she doesnt expect to see me on the 26th - of course, she also said she was surprised that I was there today. LOL She swept my membranes as well, (ouch!!) so hopefully that might move things along. Oh! I also had a few contractions register on the monitor, just little ones ;) but it made me feel better to see them because I was beginning to think I was just imagining things LOL.
I'm at the point now that I dont care if I end up having to be in the hospital on Christmas BUT I dont want the boys to have to spend Christmas morning at their friend's house. At least let them be home for that, even if I'm not here. They're a little concerned about that as well but they've been good sports. They've been so sweet, they keep coming up and hugging my belly and telling baby to come out. HAHA!
So come on baby! You have tonight and some of tomorrow to get things going. Let's GO!
Well I'm fixing Chicken noodle soup tonight... yum! So I better go tend to that. :)
